What the Experience Feels Like
Your tour begins with relaxed training where your guide helps everyone get comfortable riding the Segway. Most guests feel unsure at first, but within a few minutes the motion becomes smooth and surprisingly intuitive.
Once the group is ready, the ride begins along quiet country roads near Ellison Bay. The Segway allows you to glide effortlessly through the countryside while still taking in the peaceful scenery that defines the northern end of Door County.
As the tour continues, the route passes alongside Door County cherry orchards and open farmland, where rows of cherry trees stretch across the landscape. During certain times of the year the orchards are especially beautiful, whether in spring bloom or during the summer growing season.
Along the way your guide shares a few stories about the history of cherry farming in Door County and how the region became known for its orchards.
The ride continues at a relaxed pace with natural pauses for photos of the orchards and surrounding countryside.
By the end of the tour most guests are surprised by how natural the Segway feels — and many say the quiet orchard scenery becomes one of the most memorable parts of their Door County visit.

Peninsula State Park Segway Tour – Scenic Door County Views
The most fun way to see Peninsula State Park! Don't just drive through Peninsula State Park. Experience it with someone who knows it. You'll glide Skyline Road, stop at overlooks most visitors drive straight past, hear the stories behind the park, and get photos along the way—all while your guide takes care of the route. There’s something about gliding through Peninsula State Park on a Segway that makes sightseeing feel like an adventure. Cruise beneath the trees, climb Skyline Road, stop at spectacular overlooks, and enjoy one of the most fun ways to experience Door County’s best-known park. Never ridden a Segway? That’s completely normal. We start with patient, one-on-one training and don’t head into the park until everyone feels comfortable. This guided Segway tour explores Peninsula State Park through a relaxed, scenic route designed to highlight the park’s most enjoyable areas. The experience moves at a comfortable pace, allowing time to take in views, enjoy the surroundings, and experience the park without long walks or rushed sightseeing. The route is planned to showcase a mix of wooded roads, elevated overlooks, and quiet scenic corridors, creating a smooth, easy-to-follow ride through one of Door County’s most well-known parks.

Washington Island Adventure Segway Tour (Half-Day)
Make a day of it with one of our biggest Door County Segway adventures — a half-day journey across Washington Island. Your adventure begins on the mainland, where we’ll get everyone comfortable on the Segways before boarding the ferry together. Then the Segways come right along with us as we cross Death’s Door and head to Washington Island. Once we arrive, the fun really begins. You’ll glide for miles along quiet island roads, through open farmland and wooded stretches, with stops at some of Washington Island’s most memorable places. Depending on the day and season, the route may include the Stavkirke, lavender fields, historic sites, shoreline views, and other island landmarks. Washington Island is especially fun to explore by Segway because you can cover far more ground than you could on foot while still being out in the open and connected to everything around you. There are long stretches where you can simply settle in, enjoy the ride, and take in the scenery. We’ll stop for lunch along the way, share stories about island life and history, and continue exploring before eventually riding back to the ferry for the trip to the mainland. This isn’t just a tour with a few stops — it’s a real Washington Island outing. Ferry ride, lunch, beautiful scenery, fascinating places, and plenty of Segway riding are all part of the adventure.

Fish Creek Segway Tour
Want to try a Segway without committing to a longer tour? Fish Creek is a great place to start. After a little training and practice, you’ll head out for a fun ride through one of Door County’s most popular villages. Glide along village streets, near the marina and shoreline, and out toward Sunset Beach Park while getting a feel for both Fish Creek and the Segway. Because this is a shorter tour, there’s less emphasis on detailed sightseeing and more time to simply enjoy the experience of riding. You’ll still see some beautiful parts of Fish Creek, hear a few local stories, and get great views of the harbor and surrounding shoreline. It’s a fun, easy way to try something different during your Door County visit — and you may be surprised by how quickly you go from learning the Segway to wishing the ride were longer.

Cave Point & Whitefish Dunes Segway Tour
Glide through one of Door County’s most dramatic landscapes on a Segway adventure that combines wooded roads, Lake Michigan shoreline, and the famous limestone cliffs of Cave Point. After a little training and practice, you’ll head out on quiet roads near Cave Point County Park and Whitefish Dunes State Park. Riding the Segway is part of the fun — cruising beneath the trees, moving easily from one scenic area to the next, and covering much more ground than you could on foot. Along the way, you’ll stop near the shoreline to see the wave-carved limestone cliffs and clear waters that make Cave Point one of Door County’s most recognizable natural attractions. Your guide will share stories about the area, its geology, and the unusual landscape surrounding Whitefish Dunes. This tour gives you a little bit of everything: forest, dunes, cliffs, Lake Michigan views, and plenty of time simply enjoying the Segway ride itself. It’s a fun and memorable way to experience a completely different side of Door County.

Baileys Harbor Lighthouse Segway Tour
Explore the quieter side of Door County on a Segway ride through Baileys Harbor, where historic lighthouses, wooded roads, and Lake Michigan shoreline all come together. Once you’re comfortable on the Segway, you’ll set off along scenic roads near the Ridges Sanctuary and Toft Point, with plenty of opportunities to enjoy the ride itself. Glide beneath the trees, cruise along the lakeshore, and take in a part of Door County that feels very different from the busier west side of the peninsula. One of the highlights is the historic Baileys Harbor Range Lights, where your guide will share stories of the harbor’s maritime past, early settlements, and the people who depended on these lights to navigate Lake Michigan. It’s a fun mix of Segway riding, beautiful scenery, and local history — and a great way to discover one of Door County’s most interesting communities.

Baileys Harbor Lighthouse Segway & Hike Tour
Combine the fun of Segway riding with a walk into one of Door County’s most interesting natural areas on this Baileys Harbor Segway & Hike adventure. You’ll begin by gliding along scenic roads near the Lake Michigan shoreline, passing wooded areas, historic sites, and the Baileys Harbor Range Lights. Then you’ll park the Segways and continue on foot into Toft Point, where the experience changes completely. The hike takes you into a quieter, more natural side of Door County, with old-growth forest, native plants, shoreline scenery, and stories about the history and ecology of this special area. After exploring on foot, you’ll climb back on the Segways and enjoy the ride again. It’s a fun combination of riding, walking, history, and nature — and a great choice for guests who want to do more than simply sightsee from the road.
