When do fall colors start changing in Door County?
Fall colors typically begin appearing in mid to late September.
Early in the season, you’ll notice hints of color along scenic roads, parks, and wooded areas. By late September into early October, the colors become much more noticeable.
Peak color in Door County is usually around mid-October, depending on weather conditions.
