Glide N.E.W. is looking for enthusiastic people to join our team as Segway Tour Guides.
Each season we guide thousands of visitors through parks, villages, waterfronts, and scenic backroads across Door County and Northeast Wisconsin. Our guides help guests feel comfortable on a Segway and lead them on memorable adventures.
Many of our guides are teachers, retirees, or outdoor-minded people who enjoy sharing the area with visitors. Our guests consistently say their tour guide is the highlight of the experience.

What You'll Do
As a Segway Tour Guide you will:
• Provide Segway training and safety instruction
• Lead small groups on guided tours
• Share stories about local history, nature, and landmarks
• Take photos for guests during scenic stops
• Transport Segways to tour locations when needed
• Ensure guests have a safe, fun, and memorable experience
What Makes a Great Guide
You do not need prior Segway experience. We provide training.
The best guides typically are:
• Friendly and comfortable speaking with small groups
• Calm and patient while teaching beginners
• Responsible and safety-minded
• Knowledgeable about the area or excited to learn
• Able to work outdoors in varying weather
• Able to stand for extended periods
Many of our guides are teachers, retired educators, or people who simply enjoy meeting visitors and sharing the beauty of the area.
Requirements
• Must be 18 years or older
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Comfortable working outdoors
• Able to lift approximately 40–50 lbs
