Explore Washington Island on an E-Scooter

This is a half-day tour (about 5 hours) and visits many of the highlights of Washington Island by traveling from the ferry dock to Schoolhouse Beach. Some sites you may visit are a Lavender Farm, Stavkirke Church, Jacobsen Museum, Farm Museum, Mountain Park Lookout Tower, Historic Island Dairy, and Jackson Harbor.

Washington Island is a very unique place with its rural landscape, and eccentric destinations. As we travel across the length of the island you will visit many of the sites it has to offer as well as take in the beauty of canopied roads and beautiful shorelines. This is a guided 5-hour tour so you will travel about 24 miles on the electric scooter. You will have plenty of stops so you won’t feel tired at the end of the day.

The price includes a round trip on the ferry to and from Washington Island, your choice of a box lunch (or restaurant lunch depending on the season), a electric scooter lesson, and a glide around the island. A great way to see the island for the first time or see it like you have never seen it before on this half-day guided tour.

How It Works

Make a reservation ahead of time. We meet near the Washington Island Ferry dock in Northport and train in the parking lot before riding the Segway right onto the Ferry (included in price). You will enjoy the ferry ride to the island and the tour guide will take your lunch order. You will then ride the Segway right off the ferry. At some point on the glide the guide may give you a choice between two attractions to visit. You will enjoy the lunch (included in price). About 5 hours later you will return back to your car.
